During Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2026Game Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida answer questions about the newly announced Nintendo Switch 2 version in a roundtable interview. As reported by IGN, Yoshida-san revealed the technical specifications: the game will target 30 frames per second.
I’ve noticed some comments on social channels talking about the specs and how it compares to other, more powerful systems… I want to be honest with you, we’re really working hard on platform optimization and we’re trying to get the best performance possible.
In urban areas, you may notice lower frame rates simply because there are so many players on the screen. However, we were still able to reach 30 frames per second, and remained in stable condition. I think performance is something you don’t need to worry about.
This is a little disappointing, considering that Xbox Series S version of Final Fantasy XIV, which launched a few years ago when the game finally landed on Microsoft consoles, targets 60 frames per second in Full HD 1080p mode.
One of the features that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game has compared to others is support for Joy-Con mouse-like mode. Yoshida said:
For the first part of the question about built-in mouse controls, yes, it is supported, and possible. And for the second part, I haven’t tried doing Savage raid with the built-in mouse.
This is in addition to actual mouse and keyboard supportwhich is available on all consoles.
Final Fantasy XIV will launch in August for Nintendo Switch 2. This version will also have its own subscription modelseparate from the main subscription model that works on all other platforms (PC, PlayStation and Xbox). To soften the blow, Square Enix negotiated two player-friendly terms:
- A Nintendo Switch Online membership is NOT required to play FFXIV on the Switch 2, unlike most online multiplayer games on the platform
- Player with active FFXIV subscriptions on other platforms get a 50% discount. Switch 2 subscription
Even so, it is more likely that this version will only attract new players rather than existing players.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
